In Search of Blue is our second CD. These ten tracks are all original compositions by members of Epicenter. In the writing and playing you’ll detect that shared common language of jazz, but with a variety of shadings and hues. You’ll hear snippets of straight-ahead bop, blues, funk, pop, latin, gospel, fusion, odd-meters and some unusual harmonic progressions. For us, the intersection of influences—and the musical journey they launch us on—is where the fun begins.
